It’s hard to believe that it’s already been three years with my amazing partner. Time really does fly when you’re having fun and she’s definitely made these past few years some of the best of my life.
As we kick off 2023 and rung in our fourth New Year together, I can’t help but reflect on all the ways she’s made my life so much better. And I think that a lot of relationships should do that because it allows us the time to reflect on our relationships and share how our lives change year after year from the people that we’re fortunate to have in our lives.
If you’ve seen the most recent post, you’ll realize seeing each other was a much anticipated event for the past year.
Always there for each other
For starters, she’s always there for me, whether I need a shoulder to cry on or someone to celebrate with.
She brings so much joy and positivity into my life and I can’t imagine going through anything without her by my side.
When it comes to our relationship, that’s something that I’ll never have a doubt for, which is how we’ll always stick by each other through thick or thin.
This year was definitely a rollercoaster and we’ve managed to stand by each other no matter what.
A true testament to the great lengths we’d go for one another, and we’ve proved it.
A call to adventure together
One of the things I love most about her is her adventurous spirit. She’s always up for trying new things and exploring new places, and that’s definitely rubbed off on me.
While we had to be apart for a bulk majority of the year, we’ve managed to squeeze in a few new experiences together as well as relive some of our tried-and-true memories and places.
We’ve had so many amazing experiences together and I can’t wait to see what else the future holds for us.
The little things
But it’s not just the big things that make our relationship so special.
It’s the small moments too, like snuggling up on the couch to watch a TV show, or hours that just fly by when we’re playing board games together.
She makes every day feel like a special occasion and I feel so grateful to have her in my life.
We were fortunate to spend almost every day together this past holiday break and not a day went by where I didn’t go to sleep with a big smile on my face.
I don’t think we’ll ever get tired of being with each other all the time.
Looking ahead in the new year
As we look ahead to the new year, I’m excited to see what adventures we’ll embark on next and to continue building our amazing life together.
I think that as each year passes by and I get older each year, I find that I’m learning more and more, to be appreciative and gratuitous about what I have, along with my goals heading into the New Year.
I’m fortunate to say that no matter what, I know my partner will stick by me and knowing that, I’m ultra successful and wealthy.
