advice corner | a millennial’s advice about relationships

Sometimes you’re going to need dating advice, or advice about relationships. Sometimes I might need advice about relationships. Whether you’re single and ready to mingle, or happily boo’d up in a relationship, we can all use a shoulder to lean on from time to time. That’s why the advice corner was created. It’s a safe space to chat.

Now I know what you’re thinking, but let me paint you a scenario:

You’ve both been texting for weeks and have been hanging out a lot.

You’ve been on a couple of dates and start having that butterfly feeling when you hear their voice.

But suddenly, work or school starts to pick up and soon you’ve gone one or two days without speaking to them.

Two becomes four, four becomes eight and you lose your mind wondering why they haven’t messaged you yet?

We’ve all been there. Thinking to ourselves, over and over again.

‘I thought everything was going well.’

‘What did I do wrong?!?’

It happens to the best of us when we’re really into someone. I’m here to help you with BS-free advice about relationships and dating, backed with research, and a sprinkle of wholesome boy and humour. <-that was an active choice to type it that way because I’m Canadian

Also, that was one example, I wanted to show you that I understand what you’re feeling because I’ve been there too and I want to talk with you through it. I want to hear from you about what you need to talk about. The advice corner is a safe space where we share opinions on love, romance, and relationships and I share my two cents with you.

P.S. why were all those thoughts self-deprecating? We gotta talk about that.
