A poem to my be – love – d | Feeling sentimental while recovering from COVID

Dedicated to the love of my life.

In the brightest of days, and the darkest of nights

You’re forever the one, who is in my sights

Through thick and thin, you’ve seen it all

Always there to catch me when I fall

You found me while I was lost

Trying to navigate and find my way

Through the times that I’ve fallen

You’ve always chosen to stay

I absolutely adore you

You’re the love of my life

And one day, in front of all our friends and family

We’ll stand together, husband and wife

In sickness and in health, one thing holds true

I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.

This is another incredibly short poem, but I really missed my partner this past week (while I was recovering from COVID).

Something about being incredibly sick definitely puts a few things into perspective.

I love her so much.
